Fruit: The New Atkins

I have successfully abstained from eating matzah since last weekend. I feel this is some sort of record or achievement for which I deserve special recognition. Also, I don’t really miss bread, which is unexpected. Maybe it’s because I am slowly but surely overdosing on fruit.

Fruit has become my sugar substitute – a new vice! Perhaps this is a healthier one than actual sugar, though, or maybe not. Pounds of fruit every day can’t possibly be that good for you.

Ah well, at least I avoid the gastrointestinal problems inherent with eating matzah.
